HOW TO PREPARE
FIND INSPIRATION PHOTOS
Spend some time looking through photos of bridal makeup looks to see what you are drawn to! I’d like to you save several photos of inspiration so we can talk through and compare them all.
Visit my instagram or other Makeup Artists’ instagram pages for inspiration. I’ve also created specific pinterest boards separated by facial features, and hair color.
As you look through photos, if it feels overwhelming, just save things that you are drawn to!
TIPS ON FINDING INSPIRATION PHOTOS
Look for photos of women who have the same skin tone, eye color, eye shape and hair color.
Find photos that either are a complete look, or several photos that have pieces of the face that you are drawn to, and we can piece them together for your look.
For example, you may like eyeshadow colors in one photo, cheek color and lip color in another, how the eyeliner looks in another, etc.
PLEASE Keep in mind a lot of the photos that you see online are photoshopped!! Texture in the skin, pores, blemishes, uneven eyebrows, creases, fine lines and wrinkles, beauty marks, discoloration, etc. ARE ALL NORMAL! ALL women have these, even the women in the photos. We unfortunately live in world with a very unrealistic beauty standard, so a lot of the photos you see online will be touched up to remove these things before the photos are posted.
COMPLETE YOUR BRIDAL PREVIEW QUESTIONNAIRE
When you book your Bridal Preview, you will be directed to complete a Bridal Preview Questionnaire. Please fill this out in as much detail as possible! Finding your inspiration photos first may be helpful before filling out the questionnaire.

when TO BOOK
The timing between your preview and your wedding date makes no difference to me, so please schedule when it works best for you!
I recommend booking your Bridal Preview between November-March for the best availability. April-October is the busiest time in the wedding season and availability is limited in the studio for previews due to being on location.

HOW TO BOOK
The easiest way to see when I’m available and compare schedules is to book through my online booking site! If you would like to request a specific date that’s not available online yet, please send me an email. I can see if I am available to get you in that day!
during your preview
Please arrive to your Bridal Preview with clean skin! I highly recommend exfoliating prior to your appointment so your skin looks silky smooth.
consulatation
Together we will look over your inspiration photos, your Bridal Preview Questionnaire. We will discuss what will look good on your skin tone, with your facial features, and what finish and products will work best with your skin type!
If you are just totally not sure, I know just the right questions to ask to get us on the same page! We can also talk about skin prep, skin care items I recommend, brows, lashes or anything else you may be interested in leading up to the wedding.
CREATING YOUR CUSTOM BRIDAL LOOK
After talking through your vision, and I finish applying your preview look, we will tweak anything that you immediately see that you want updated, if anything. I take a lot of photos and notes to reference on the wedding day!
AFTER YOUR PREVIEW
You will wear your makeup look for the rest of the day, and I always suggest looking in different lighting, taking photos of yourself, look in you rearview mirror, etc.
Before removing it, you will note anything that you noticed throughout the day that needs to be changed or noted to me for wedding day. This includes any changes in colors, if you got oily/too dry in certain places, if you just don't like the lip color!
These are all updatable things, and this is why we do a preview!
